This week I created a suede trivet/hot mat. Is it art? Craft? It is KAPOW. What is your definition of art?
Here are some photos of the creation process.
cut two pieces out of this big piece of suede 
some tools 
sewed the seams of the two pieces 
turned it inside out 
added a silicon layer to the inside 
sewed a handle piece to hide the hole
