This week I made a lid for a box I made several years ago that did not have a top. The original box was intended to be a six-pack holder, but a slight miscalculation made it so a six-pack did not fit in it. It became a topless box. After last week‘s unfinished box it seemed like a good idea to work on a totally different box.
The original box was made from zebra wood. I used olive wood for the new lid. Before staining they matched quite well….they are somewhat different after the stain.
Remember, there is no definition of art.
